About

The Transylvania County Beekeepers Association was chartered in August 2019 as a member of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Transylvania County Beekeepers Association is to foster closer relations among beekeepers, share ideas, improve beekeeping among our members, educate the general public relating to honey bees and the beekeeping community and to encourage and assist people wishing to enter the field of beekeeping.

Membership

Annual memberships run from January 1-December 31. Dues are $10 per individual and $15 per family. Dues for students age 14-17 are $5 when joining with an adult. Checks should be made payable to TCBA with “Dues” in the memo line. Bring your dues to any regular meeting, or mail them to: Transylvania County Beekeepers, PO Box 92, Brevard, NC 28712.

Monthly Meetings

We gather on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the conference room of the Transylvania County Community Services Building, 106 E. Morgan Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
